Cancellation Policy for Coffee Purchases (Food)
Scope
This cancellation policy applies to all orders of espresso coffee and coffee products purchased through our online store. Our products are food items.
1. One-time purchases (standard orders)
Cancellation before shipment
Orders can be canceled free of charge as long as they have not yet been shipped. The shipping status in our order processing system is decisive.
After shipment of the goods
Once the order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.
There is no right of withdrawal for contracts for the delivery of goods
that are likely to spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be exceeded quickly, or
that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery (Section 312g (2) No. 2 and No. 3 BGB).
Since espresso coffee is a food product and contamination after delivery cannot be ruled out, returns are generally not accepted after shipment.
2. Subscriptions (recurring deliveries)
When you sign up for a coffee subscription, you’ll receive regular deliveries based on the frequency you choose.
You’ll be billed per delivery or in advance, depending on the plan you select.
Your payment information is stored securely.
You can cancel or pause your subscription at any time to stop future deliveries.
Important:
Deliveries that have already been processed or shipped cannot be canceled or returned, as they involve food products.
3. Pre-orders
With pre-orders, you purchase a product that is not yet available at the time of ordering.
Pre-orders can be canceled until the time of shipment approval.
Once the pre-order has been processed and shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.
The same applies here: No returns after shipment, as these are food products.
4. No “Try Before You Buy”
Our coffee products are not intended for “try before you buy.”
Opening the packaging or breaking the seal completely precludes a return, even if the statutory cancellation period has not yet expired, as hygienic integrity can no longer be guaranteed once the seal has been broken.
5. Exceptions: Damage or Incorrect Delivery
Notwithstanding the exclusions listed above, your statutory rights remain unaffected in the following cases:
Damage during shipping
Incorrect deliveries
Manufacturing or packaging defects
In these cases, please contact us immediately upon receipt of the goods and provide photographic evidence.
