Experience the Extra Bar

FORMED WITH INTENTION

Our 50/50 blend produces an espresso with a rich crema, robust body, and clear structure. Earthy, nutty, and chocolatey notes lend it depth and presence. It truly shines as an aromatic ristretto. Even when combined with milk or milk alternatives, it remains expressive and balanced.

With the right approach, the mixture unfolds its full potential.

The water quality

Water hardness: 5 to 8 degrees dH

Boiler temperature: 102 to 104 degrees C

Output temperature: 92 to 94 degrees C

The water pressure

9 bar is the standard optimal value for espresso extraction. However, 8.5 to 9.5 bar is considered normal and unproblematic.

Tip: Many baristas deliberately set the pressure to 8.5 to 9.0 bar because the shot becomes sweeter, fewer bitter substances are extracted, and the crema appears finer.
